Recent Review
"It is often the case that people with High Functioning Autism or Asperger's Syndrome who write about themselves come across as less than sympathetic characters, for indeed it is due to their condition that they are egocentric in their outlook on life. However, it is for the rest of us to adjust to this, and not wish to have a deeply empathic read, but a read that teaches us more about autism, and A Painful Gift does indeed do this."
Jude Ragan, Headteacher of Queensmill School (An outstanding state school in Fulham for children with complex and severe autism)
